Emilio Esbardo studied black and white Photography at the American University abroad Umbra Institute in Perugia in 2002, where he also learned to develop his own negatives in a dark room.
His passion for photography met his passion for literature in 2003 when he published, under the pseudonym Natalino Bardi, the book “Perugia tra immagini e parole” (“Perugia between images and words”).
It follows different exhibitions at the “Caffè Morlacchi” (Sept.- Dec. 2003; Jan.- Apr. 2005) at the University in Bonn (26 June 2003), at the University in Köln (2 July 2003) and at the University in Perugia (7 July 2005).
Since November 2009 Emilio Esbardo works as a freelance photographer and a journalist.
